Lilita's Studio ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, including the room photos you upload, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights. By using our platform, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Information We Collect
- Information you provide directly: your email address, and the project details you enter: room type, style preferences, budget preferences, and optional room dimensions.
- Photos you upload: your room photos and any style reference images, used to generate your design previews, final render, and Design Shopping Kit.
- Waitlist data: if you joined our pre-launch waitlist, we keep the email address (and any preferences) you submitted until you ask us to delete it, and use it only to send you the design link you requested.
- Payment data: payments are processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation of your payment and limited transaction details, but we never see or store your full card number.
- Usage data: basic technical information such as pages visited, device type, and error events, used to operate and improve the platform. See our Cookie Policy for details on cookies.
How We Use Your Information
- To generate your design previews, final room render, and personalized Design Shopping Kit based on your room, style, and budget.
- To deliver your kit and send you transactional emails: magic links to access your projects, project status updates, kit delivery, and receipts.
- To send you marketing emails about offers and new features, only if you have opted in; every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
- To provide support when you contact us, and to prevent fraud and abuse of the platform.
- To improve the Lilita's Studio design system, using generated renders in anonymized form (never including your name, contact details, or identifiable personal information).
- We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your photos for advertising or display them publicly.
Photos: Storage & AI Processing
- Photos you upload are stored securely on cloud infrastructure provided by Cloudflare (R2 object storage).
- To generate your design, your photos and project preferences are processed by the third-party AI providers that power the Lilita's Studio design system: currently Google (Gemini) and OpenAI. They receive your photos solely to generate your design outputs, under their API terms of service.
- Photos are retained while your project is active and for a limited period afterward to support re-renders and customer support. You can request deletion at any time (see "Your Rights" below).
Who We Share Data With
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with the service providers needed to operate the platform:
- Stripe: payment processing at checkout.
- Cloudflare: hosting, storage (including your uploaded photos), and site analytics infrastructure.
- Google and OpenAI: AI processing of your photos and preferences to generate your designs.
- Microsoft Clarity: behavioral analytics (clicks, scrolling, page interactions) on our public website only, not in the design studio app, and it never receives your uploaded photos.
- Email delivery providers: to send magic links, kit delivery, and other emails.
- We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the platform.
Payment Information
- Payment processing is handled by Stripe. Lilita's Studio does not store your full payment card details.
- Payment transactions are subject to Stripe's own privacy policy, available at stripe.com/privacy.
Cookies
- We use essential cookies to operate the platform, and may use analytics cookies to understand how it is used.

Emails & Marketing Choices
- Transactional emails (magic links, project updates, kit delivery, receipts) are part of the Service and are sent to everyone who uses it.
- Marketing emails are optional. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email, and we honor opt-outs promptly (within 10 business days at most). Unsubscribing from marketing does not affect transactional emails.
Your Rights
- You may request access to the personal information we hold about you.
- You may request correction of inaccurate information.
- You may request deletion of your personal information, including your uploaded photos. We will honor deletion requests except where we must retain data to comply with law (for example, payment records).
- You may ask that renders from your projects not be used for service improvement.
- To exercise any of these rights, use the contact form at lilitasstudio.com/contact from the address associated with your account. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Data Security & Retention
- We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
- We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, and then delete or anonymize it.
Children
- The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
- We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, for example by email or a notice in the Service. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision.
