The plan behind the room
The plan kept the room's windows and floor, replaced the sofa with a rattan-arm three-seater and added a matching rattan accent chair, put a natural fiber rug under the seating, added a rattan coffee table, a side table and a media console, and used black metal only in the floor lamp and the linen curtains so the room reads modern, not rustic. Woven baskets on the wall replace a gallery wall.
