The plan behind the room
The plan kept the room's window and floor, replaced the seating with a natural rattan three-seater and a blue-striped slipcover, added a slipper chair, a wicker coffee table and a rattan side table, put a blue-and-natural rug under the seating zone, and used light blue lamps, sheer curtains and pillows as the only color. The one nautical item the sourcing step let through was removed from this list, because the style says never to buy it.
